Released in 2013, Slomatics had put out an album in digital format which could be downloaded straight from their bandcamp account, but re-released in cassette form in mid 2014.
Delivering heavy sounds with arrays of synth, gongs, and traps, Slomatics has proven themselves to be worthy in their genre; Heavy Space Rock. Dont be fooled by the sounds as this band only consist of two guitarist, and a drummer.
Coming from Belfast, this is a collaboration between BTNKcllctv and Slomatics, and yet to be our playlist of the year by far.
Each cassette is wrapped nicely semi-pro done to ensure you'll get "fresh as it is".
Tracks included:
1) Running Battle
2) Son of Ampbreaker

Slow, hulking doom that's as heavy as a herd of mammoths being pursued by a gang of sumo wrestlers in steamrollers. Unfortunately not as awesome a release as subsequent album, Estron, but a decent enough warm-up for that record. Sonny92

A bit of a different path from Goya here, although not so much to my personal taste. The EP has a confident swagger, like after a night of beer-ing it up on the town and now getting in your face and looking for a fight. Last is the weakest Goya song I've heard so far, one I'm likely to skip past, but The Enemy and Light Years are worth a listen. Master of Alchemy
This searing, four-track split from Bog Wizard (Michigan) and Dust Lord (Colorado) pairs stoner rock riffs with hard fantasy themes. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 10, 2021
